Page Background GIVING n Mission Statement Harmony House provides safe and secure emergency housing to families escaping domestic violence. Since 1976, our emergency shelter has offered survivors of domestic violence the opportunity to rest and heal both emotionally and physically in a supportive environment. Each year, Harmony House provides shelter, case management, childcare, lifeskills classes and other supportive services to more than 800 individuals. In addition to shelter services, Harmony House also offers outreach support, advocacy and prevention education services. It is our mission to help survivors break the cycle of domestic violence and live lives free from abuse. n Service Area Harmony House primarily serves domestic violence survivors from Greene County and counties in SW Missouri n Funding Donations, grants and fundraisers. n Annual Events Purple Party, Give Day, Rockin’ Ribs, iCare and Halloween Hustle. n How People & Businesses Can Help Volunteer, Participate in iCare, Host awareness and fundraising events. n Volunteer Opportunities Harmony House has many volunteer opportunities, from administrative work to sorting donated items to helping cook meals for residents.
