Page Background GIVING n Mission Statement Our mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported, one-to-one friendships that change their lives for the better forever. n Service Area The Ozarks - 18 Counties in Southwest Missouri. n Funding We provide mentoring services to children facing adversity that is free of charge to our Littles, our Littles’ families, and our Bigs. Donors, event sponsors, and event attendees can also know that their money is being allocated with responsible fiduciary duties and stewardship in mind because we play the Great Game of Business and practice open-book management (our financials are literally on a wall in our office—come see for yourself). n Goals Our top priority is to open back up our waiting list for Little Brothers and shorten their wait to less than a year again. We also hope to expand our Bigs in Blue program where law enforcement personnel become mentors, bring the Lunch Buddy program to more elementary schools, and start our own foundation to process items donated in our bins. n Annual Events • Bowl for Kids’ Sake – Get your team of five ready for some FUN-draising. It’s a seriously good time at our bowling parties where you get two games, shoes, pizza, drinks, and a t-shirt to boot. • Taste of the Ozarks – 2018 marks the 16th anniversary of our signature event. This runner up for 417 Magazine’s Best Charity Event features samples from local upscale restaurants, a huge silent auction, a thrilling live auction, a $20,000 cash raffle, and live entertainment. • Ozarks Beerfest – Guest 21 years or older can join the area’s largest beer festival and enjoy beer samples from over 200 of the best microbreweries and distributors from across the Midwest and beyond. • Sponsorship packages are limited.
