Ministerial Alliance
Founded by
Bill Davies
in the late 1970s, the Ministerial
Alliance is dedicated to serving members of the community and
transients in Oak Grove who need assistance.
Group meets at 8:30 a.m. the third Tuesday of each month at
rotating churches.
Purpose statement of the organization is, “The Oak Grove
Ministerial Alliance of Oak Grove, Missouri, as a Christian or-
ganization, exists to lead people to Jesus as Savior and connect
them to a local church through cooperative efforts of benevolence,
Bible study, evangelism, pastoral support, prayer, worship and
youth activities as God leads us.”
To fulfill its mission, the Ministerial Alliance plans and or-
ganizes several community events, a Thanksgiving service, an
Easter sunrise service and baccalaureate service for seniors at
Oak Grove High School.
Regular services include a Bible study at Oak Grove Nursing
and Rehab Center, Bristol Manor and Oak Grove Manor.

alliance, “It keeps all of us on the same page. It creates a good
sense of unity among the members of the town.”
