Page Background GIVING 54 · 2017 GG SPRINGFIELD BUSINESS JOURNAL n Mission Statement Pregnancy Care Center provides health, wellness and relationship services and education for families facing unplanned pregnancy. Services include pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, coaching and enrichment, educational classes and essential items for moms and babies. n Service Area Southwest Missouri. n Funding PCC receives the majority of its funding through contributions from individuals, businesses, foundations and churches. n Goals 1. Provide free pregnancy and ultrasound testing services to 1,600 clients. 2. Engage more clients in the full range of program services, including mentoring, education and fatherhood program. 3. Expand service support until the baby is two years old. (Services currently end at four months postpartum.) n Annual Events 1. Walk for Life on Saturday, October 7, 2017, from 9am- 12pm at Pregnancy Care Center featuring free family activities, food, and tours of the center. 2. Annual Banquet, Saturday, April 7, 2018, at University Plaza Convention Center. PCC, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, may have 50% tax credits available for gifts that qualify. n Volunteer Opportunities PCC appreciates the hundreds of faithful volunteers who make it possible to provide our services free of charge.
