Newz Group monitors print, online news, and social media content, and coverage from broadcast TV & Radio sources. We internally monitor over 1,900 newspaper publications – roughly one-third of all newspapers circulated in America. Additionally, we operate public notice websites for three state press associations.

1991 - 1996

Newz Group Begins

Company forms and begins operations with press association partnerships in Arkansas and Iowa.
1997 - 2001

Press Association Partnerships Expand

Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, South Carolina, Texas, West Virginia, and Wyoming Press Associations Partner with Newz Group, expanding coverage in the Midwest and beyond.
2002

Digital Processing Begins

A new digital process is introduced to the press clipping system, improving the quality and speed of service provided to media monitoring clients and the press.
2007 - 2009

Newz Group Grows with Four Additional States

Newz Group expands a third time to work with the statewide newspaper associations in four additional states (Colorado, New Mexico, North Dakota, and South Dakota) after acquiring their statewide press clipping bureaus.
2009 - 2011

Services Transition to Digital Formats

Complete digital PDF editions are uploaded to Newz Group directly from members of statewide press associations, allowing for digital archiving services for newspaper preservation.
2015

Archived Pages Milestone & Monitoring Services Expand to Include Online News

Archive surpasses 20 million PDF pages from partner press association members. Online news monitoring is introduced to enhance and broaden the array of provided services.
2019

More Media Monitoring Available

Monitoring services expand to include social media and Broadcast TV & Radio to incorporate the entire media landscape for clients.
