Twenty years ago Missouri State was still Southwest Missouri State, no
one had ever heard of an iPhone, and Murney Associates, Realtors was
just an idea. A group of seven agents started Murney Associates in 1997
and since then, we’ve grown to almost 600. Our growth didn’t happen
overnight, but it did move quickly. By 2000, we were the market leader in
Southwest Missouri and we have been every year since then. We’ve been
recognized locally, nationally and internationally for the business we’ve
created. In 2016, we helped 5,354 families find the home of their dreams.
We sold over 2,000 more units than our nearest competitor in 2016 and
continued a prominent lead in market share in the Ozarks.
We’ve always aspired to exceed the expectations of our clients by
providing the most comprehensive service possible. One of the ways that
we achieve this is through our training. Murney agents are trained by the
most experienced brokers in Southwest Missouri from the first day they join our company. We
have created a training program that allows our agents to enter the real estate market with the
knowledge and expertise needed to usher their clients through the largest financial transaction of
their lives.
Since the 1990s, Springfield has grown a lot too. Dozens of prestigious companies have sprung
up and others have expanded. As the city has become more of an industrial center, more people
have moved into the area. We possess the largest international network in Southwest Missouri and
we’ve helped thousands of people move into the Greater Springfield Area to pursue employment.
We also value technology very highly at Murney Associates. As the landscape of business
becomes more and more digital, we’ve stayed ahead of the curve in providing innovative options
for our clients and agents. We believe that great customer service and cutting edge technology
go hand-in-hand in the real estate industry and we’ve always aspired to have the best tools in the
market.
A lot has changed since we started 20 years ago, but our mission hasn’t. We will continue to be
here to help families find their place in this wonderful region. We will continue to strive to exceed
the expectations of our clients, and we’ll continue to seek out trends to give our clients the most
comprehensive service possible.
We’re extremely grateful for the opportunities we’ve been afforded in the past 20 years and
we’re looking forward to the next 20.
