Motorist contacts during the two-week Memorial Day seat belt enforcement campaign put law enforcement officers face-to-face with citizens 2,170 times.
June through September are primary months for injuries and deaths in motorcycle crashes, according to the North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT). The NDDOT, along with state and local law enforcement, are reminding motorists and motorcyclists to do their part to prevent crashes during summer travel when motorcycle traffic peaks.
Many teen drivers, ages 14 to 18, from across North Dakota participated in today’s Ford Driving Skills for Life (DSFL) event at Dickinson High School.
