2024 Evolution | Paid Advertising SPRINGFIELD BUSINESS JOURNAL 16 • 2024 EVOLUTION Aetos Center for the Performing Arts Address: 514 S Nicholas Rd, Nixa, MO 65714 Phone: 417-724-6200 Website: aetoscenter.net With over 25 states and Canada purchasing tickets to Aetos in Nixa, the performing arts venue has become a hub of activity in only two years. What started as an expansion for the performing arts programs of Nixa High School has turned into something bigger and more special for the Ozarks as a whole. Aetos has been able to welcome big-name acts into the Meridian Title Performance Hall that have been featured on hit shows America’s Got Talent, American Idol, and The Masked Singer, such as ILuminate, Jordan Feliz, Colton Dixon, Danny Gokey, and David Archuleta. Other attention-drawing artists featured have been Hypov, Priscilla Presley, A Very Merry Christmas and More Tour featuring Jeremy Camp and NewSong, and the most recent performance of Martina McBride in June. They even had Super Bowl Champion Mecole Hardman grace the stage to talk about his life. These performances shine a light on the Ozarks and show you don’t have to travel hours in order to enjoy the Arts. The venue is not only a hub for entertainment, it is an opportunity for Nixa and surrounding cities to grow economically. Over the past year, Aetos has sold tickets to guests living in 25 states and Canada. This means hotels, restaurants, gas stations, and local shops are being utilized with every national show coming to Aetos. Through estimated calculations, about $225,000 was injected into the community on top of ticket sales in 2023. This number will continue to grow and is projected to at least double in 2024. The future of the Aetos Center for the Performing Arts is full of endless possibilities. Over the years, the center hopes to welcome more acts for both families, students, and just adults so people can stay in the community rather than travel to cities like St. Louis or Kansas City. The Aetos Center was built for its community and will continue to welcome and support its members in the coming years. Aetos has already announced many shows for their Season 3 line up including Steven Curtis Chapman, Reed Timmer, Big Daddy Weave, Puppy Pals Live, Las Guaracheras, Always Loretta, Richard Dreyfuss, Serial Killers with Dr. Scott Bonn, and Haunted Objects, with more on the way. Everyone is encouraged to sign up for the e-news to be the first to know about show announcements, special discounts, and other events at Aetos. By supporting the national shows at Aetos, the region is also giving students the opportunity to obtain hands-on experience by working shows and learning from industry professionals, which expands the college and career opportunities offered to students.
