Wesley Young is joining the city with a more than 20year career in public service, including administrative work for the state of Arkansas. As city administrator, Young will oversee the day-to-day operations of the city of Willard, working with elected officials, department heads and community stakeholders. Vibrant Communities Community Foundation of the Ozarks Inc. on April 30 awarded $220,000 in grants in partnership with the Louis L. and Julia Dorothy Coover Charitable Foundation and Commerce Trust. The Coover Regional Vibrant Communities Grants, made to 14 organizations, are intended to address loneliness and social isolation statewide. ◀ ▶
