EDITOR’S PICK April 30 —A familiar face was hired as Springfield Ballet Inc.’s artistic director. Ashley Paige Romines is returning to the role after a two-year stint away from the organization. After previously serving as Springfield Ballet’s artistic director and school director from 2007-19, she has worked for Littleton Ballet Academy and Colorado Ballet Academy in Denver. Romines is scheduled to make her return to Springfield Ballet in July. At the ballet, Romines succeeds Andrew Parker, who resigned in January.
