SPRINGFIELD BUSINESS JOURNAL · 31 APRIL 12-18, 2021 A GREENE COUNTY FIRST Citizens Memorial Hospital officials break ground March 23 on the company’s new medical clinic in Willard. The $3 million project calls for an 8,300-square-foot facility next to Apple Market in the Green Meadows Shopping Center. With a planned opening this fall, BP Builders LLC is serving as general contractor and Facility Design Group LLC is the architect. The Willard clinic will be the 14th medical center for CMH and its first in Greene County. NEWT IN THE OZARKS Politician Newt Gingrich, former speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, speaks March 9 at College of the Ozarks for the school’s 2021 Spring Forum on Free Enterprise. The event, held virtually and at the on-campus Keeter Center, discussed the moral outcomes of capitalism and socialism, according to school officials.
