G IV I N G O P P O RT U N I T I E S Mission Statement To put Christian principles into practice through pro- grams that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. Service Area The Ozarks Regional YMCA serves southwest Mis- souri through eight branches, including the G. Pearson Ward YMCA and Pat Jones YMCA in Springfield, along with facilities in Monett, Lebanon, Buffalo, Cassville and Hollister. The ORYMCA also provides services at YMCA Camp Wakonda and with its school age services department. Funding The Ozarks Regional YMCA is supported through its annual campaign, special events, membership dues and program fees. In addition, the ORYMCA is a com- munity partner through the United Way. Additional support is provided through grants. 12-Month Goals As a cause-driven organization, the ORYMCA is dedi- cated to youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. We will continue to help create a better community by leading in water safety, youth sports, before and after school programs, feeding children and offering senior programs. No one is ever turned away due to inability to pay. That’s because a strong community can only be achieved when we invest in our kids, our health and our community. Today and every day, the Y strengthens the fabric of our com- munities by ensuring that we all have access to the resources, relationships, and opportunities we need to lead, learn, grow and thrive. How People and Business Can Help Supporting our annual campaign and special events. Also, by serving on the Board of Directors at the Asso- ciation level or as a Board of Manager at the Branch level. Volunteering at any of our branches through coaching teams, teaching classes and special events. We provide a place to play, to learn, to be healthy, to eat well and to give back. We give parents childcare, young adults job training, seniors a way to connect and children a safe place to go. We believe that everyone – no matter who they are or where they are from – deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. Everything the Y does is in service of making sure people and communities thrive. “G” came to us in the elementary after-school program with autistic tendencies and social anxiety.
