G IV I N G O P P O RT U N I T I E S Mission Statement Pregnancy Care Center is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) whose mission is to save lives and strengthen families. Spe- cifically, we exist to offer hope and practical help to anyone facing unplanned pregnancy, most of whom are at-risk youth aged 15-24. Service Area PCC provides vital services to 10 counties in southwest Missouri. Since opening in 2000, PCC has served more than 225,000 young people from Greene, Barry, Chris- tian, Dade, Dallas, Lawrence, Polk, Stone, Taney and Webster counties in Missouri. Funding PCC is primarily funded through donations from indi- viduals, local businesses, churches and grants from family and community foundations. PCC receives no federal funding. 12-Month Goals 1. Expand the reach of our fatherhood program by adding a Fatherhood Director position to support male coaches and improve fatherhood community education and group classes. 2.Broaden the client demographic who participates in the education program. PCC classes offer useful information for anyone desiring to be a better person or parent, not just those in crisis situations. 3.Provide early and effective access to essential ser- vices and resources to anyone experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. 4.Increase community awareness of PCC programs for expectant families. How People and Businesses Can Help 1. Donate to continue services which provide support to families facing unplanned pregnancy. 2. Tour the center to learn more about our services and understand the mission. 3. Advocate for PCC by sharing your knowledge in your circle of influence. 4. Sponsor a PCC event. 5. Pray for families as they embark on their parent- ing journey, many for the first time, to experience hope and the support they need to thrive.
