G IV I N G O P P O RT U N I T I E S Mission Statement We strive to improve lives in our community by pro- viding help, hope and healing through professional grief support services. Service Area We serve individuals throughout southwest Missouri and occasionally northwest Arkansas. Individuals have come to us from 27 counties throughout Missouri and one in Arkansas. Funding We are primarily funded through the generosity of private donations from individuals, families and cor- porate sponsorships. We also receive funding from grants and foundations. 12-Month Goals 1. Continue providing professional, therapeutic grief support in the safest way possible for our families. 2. Expand our online resources for grieving children, teens, young adults and adults so they may receive the help they need 24/7, especially if our groups require us to meet virtually again. 3. Create six-nine podcasts so our online resources are better able to provide support for families from home. 4. Provide more resources for those left in the after- math of a suicide death. How People and Businesses Can Help Because we do not receive federal funding, we rely solely on the financial generosity of individuals, businesses and foundations to support Lost & Found so that grieving children, parents and adults are able to see that there is hope, and they are not alone. We are also always looking for amazing volunteers to help us in the office, at events, and most importantly, in our grief support groups. Annual Events • Run and Remember 5k - 8/30/2020 • Evening of Hope - 4/17/2021 • Run and Remember 5k - 5/27/2021 • Golf Fore Hope - 6/14/2021 Testimonials “Lost & Found has given me the ability to breathe again.” “Lost & Found helped me be able to discuss grief with my child and gave me tools to help them process their grief. Lost & Found is highly needed in this community. It provided a much-needed service and we are thankful for this place.” “When you go to a group, you listen and hear what the other people have to say and realize that you feel the same way. Things start to get a little better for you. There is a validation of your grief and questions that you have are resolved.” LO S T & F O U N D G R I E F C E N T E R A D D R E SS 1 555 S G l e n sto n e Ave. , S p r i n g f i el d , M O 65 8 0 4 P H O N E 41 7- 8 65 - 9 99 8 W E B S I T E l ost a n d fo u n d oz a r k s .co m SO C IA L M E D IA facebook.com/lostandfoundgriefcenter @LostnFoundGrief TOTA L N U M B E R O F EM P LOY E E S 9 A N N UA L R E V E N U E S $ 8 6 8 , 0 0 0 TO P E X EC U T I V E E m i l y G ive n s , E xe c ut i ve D i re cto r B OA R D O F D I REC TO R S C H A I R P E R SO N : J a s o n S m i t h B OA R D O F D I REC TO R S Jason Smith - Chairman Spencer Fane Joe Johnson - Vice-Chairman Int’l Dehydrated Foods David Stotelmyer - Treasurer BKD Judi Phillips - Secretary Community Volunteer Shawn Askinosie, Askinosie Chocolate Andrea Brady, Great Southern Bank Teresa Fiester, Grantham Fiester Law Lisa Hallam, Select Specialty Hospital Josh Kitchin, Edward Jones Gary Leonard, Steak ‘n Shake Craig McCoy, Mercy Monte McNew, SFC Bank Mark McQueary, Retired Attorney Dr. Karen Scott, Co-founder Ron Prenger, CoxHealth Mike Woody, Retired Silver Dollar City Cindy W.
