Service Area We have 213 residential locations across the United States and central Canada. Funding Our largest source of funding is from individual donors, churches and businesses. Our program centers pay a monthly fee to be a part of our network. We also produce a line of Christ-centered curriculum for teens and adults that is available for purchase. 12 Month Goals • Working toward diversifying revenue streams and developing social enterprise strategies to support our centers. • Produce the next studies in our Personal Studies for New Life curriculum series. • Continue adding new courses to our online learning platform; investing in staff development across the nation. • Expand beyond our residential programming to reach more people and provide support for gradu- ates of our programs. How People and Businesses Can Help We rely on generous donors to fund a large portion of our programs. Giving is one of the most significant ways people and businesses can help. You can also be an advocate for education about the stigma surround- ing drug abuse. Addiction does not discriminate, but there is hope. With the help of the community and the power of Jesus Christ, we can continue to see lives transformed. Testimonials My earliest memories were of my parents fighting. When they divorced, I withdrew from everything. Sports was the only place I found any purpose. After my senior season, I fell into a deep depression, quit my part-time job, and barely graduated. I threw away the opportunity for college. Then, when I was 19, I dis- covered meth and was constantly drinking. Blacking out became routine. I attempted to cope with the pain and depression. When I was high, I forgot about my failures. Then I discovered Adult & Teen Challenge. God has changed my life – I can think clearly, and I’ve learned skills that will help me in future jobs. I have a new life – drug free! 14 2020 GIVING GUIDE SPRINGFIELD BUSINESS JOURNAL | ADVERTISING SUPPLEMENT
