Staying together at a Ronald McDonald House significantly affects a family’s psychological well-being and their child’s recovery. Franck et al,. Families, Systems & Health (2013) RMHCozarks.org Springfield’s Ronald McDonald Houses were built on the simple idea that nothing else should matter when a family is focused on healing their child – not where they can afford to stay, where they will get their next meal, or where they will lay their head at night to rest. On any given night, up to 24 families are staying at our Ronald McDonald Houses. We are blessed by more than 140 volunteers working in our Houses every week, not to mention our Family Dinner Groups who provide and serve dinner each evening. The Tooth Truck has completed the treatment plans of more than 25,000 kids with $16.5 million in dental services over the past 17 years. Visit ToothTruck.org to learn more about our program and the Tooth Truck Board of Directors. Keeping families close Each year more than 800 families find a community of comfort and hope at our two Ronald McDonald Houses in Springfield.
