G IV I N G O P P O RT U N I T I E S Mission Statement The mission of Harmony House is to provide shelter, advocacy and education to survivors of domestic violence and promote the principle that all individ- uals have the right to a life free of abuse. Harmony House provides a crisis hotline, case management, on-site counseling, and outreach services. Service Area Harmony House primarily serves domestic violence survivors from Greene County and counties in south- west Missouri. Funding Donations, Grants, and Fundraisers 12 Month Goals 1. In partnership with the Rebound Foundation, fully launch prevention education programs to area 9th grade classes. In addition, Harmony House is offering CUT IT OUT, a spa and salon-based domestic violence intervention program. 2. Strengthen and expand our shelter-based employment readiness program to ensure that shelter residents are prepared and equipped to successfully re-enter the workforce. 3. Continue to improve access to mental health and health services for shelter residents. 4. Continued focus on local fundraising efforts to ensure sustainability of vital shelter and support services.
