Representatives are gathered at the Northview Center. The grant funds are designed to meet mental health needs of older residents. PARKS AND REC PRAISE Matt Crouse, director of Nixa Parks and Recreation, left, on Feb. 28 receives the Missouri Park and Recreation Association’s Associate Fellow Award at its annual conference in Branson. WOMEN AROUND THE WORLD Over 200 people attend Convoy of Hope’s International Women’s Day luncheon March 7 at the nonprofit’s world distribution center, 330 S. Patterson Ave. The event raised money and awareness for Convoy’s global women’s empowerment initiative. International Women’s Day was observed on March 8.
