Isaac Wilson is the creator of “The Evening of Distinction,” which honors local heroes for their service and com- mitment to community and business. That event is in its 5th year. Lastly, Isaac Wilson was scheduled to hold a Youth Symposium on March 7th at Wilson High School free of charge, catering to middle and high school stu- dents. I saac Wilson III was born and raised in Florence, South Carolina and attended Wilson High. He is a class of 2011 graduate of Morris College, where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He is currently employed as Executive Director of Listen 365 (now The Isaac Wilson Project) in which he founded in 2009. The Isaac Wilson Project has become one of the leading organizations in the country against bullying and suicides. Isaac has been speaking to middle schools, high schools, charter schools, colleges, non-profit organizations, and churches throughout the country spread- ing his message of being bold about whom you are, where you’re going and the epidemic of bullying. Because of his community service work he was recog- nized as a ‘Who’s Who among Entrepreneurs’ member and has served on President Barack Obama’s Task Force on Bullying since 2011. Isaac is the 2015 recipient of the Honor of Distinction Award given by Distinction Inspirational Magazine. Additionally, Isaac has garnered 1 national sponsor; FIJI Water. Isaac recent- ly was selected as a Top 40 Under 40 recipient by the Thomas Media Group and the Black Expo. Mr. Wilson is also cur- rently the National Rural Caucus Chair of Young Democrats of America, the largest Democratic body of youth ages 18-36 and he’s the 2016 Male of the Year Honoree of the “I AM HIM Foundation.” In 2018 Mr. Wilson graduated from the James E. Clyburn Fellowship class, becoming one of the leading up and com- ing political operatives in South Carolina. Mr. Wilson recently served as South Carolina Regional Director for Joe Biden Campaign and later became State Political Director for Tulsi Gabbard. He is the best-selling Author of Top 140 Award winning children’s books, “The Bully and Me,” over 15,000 copies sold worldwide. Isaac has released three other books, “In Between Single and Married: When your reality doesn’t meet your expectation,” “20 Courageous Men” and most recently “Myla Takes On Bullying.” He is a member of the Divine 9 Fraternity of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity
