2023-2024 Odessa City Guide Page 74 Services Sni Valley Fire District Sni Valley Fire Protection District Stations are located at 1600 S. Broadway, Oak Grove and 207 E. Market Street, Bates City. The district boundaries are the Johnson County line on the south, Route F (Truman Road) on the north, an imaginary line extending north and south from the 33 mile marker of I-70 on the east, and another imaginary line extending north and south from the 25 mile marker on the west. This area encompasses the cities of Bates City, Oak Grove and most of the rural unincorporated areas surrounding those cities. It is an area that includes 78 square miles of territory; 40 in Jackson County and 38 in Lafayette County. The district has mutual aid agreements with other re departments, and immediate response agreements with Fort Osage, Odessa, Lone Jack and Central Jackson County (CJC) re departments. Sni Valley Fire Protection District provides coverage from stations in Oak Grove and Bates City.
