Monthly meetings include programs geared to learning new aspects of gardening. Club has partnered with Nerds Hardware to award “Yard of the Month” to an Odessa resident May-October. In May 2023, the club adopted the planting and care of the pots at the four-way stop in the historic downtown district. Members continue the maintenance of those plants. Memorial Day weekend several members of the club worked to improve the look around Memorial Park, and then partnered with the Parks Department to improve several areas of Dyer Park. Club is currently fundraising for future projects in the area and The club is working to obtain 501(C)3 status. New members are always welcome and can contact club president Donna Ehlert for information. Odessa Garden Club members hold a fundraiser at the Odessa City Market this summer.
