2023-2024 Odessa City Guide Page 47 Service House of Hope Founded in 1994, House of Hope is committed to meeting the needs and improving the quality of life for families affected by domestic and sexual violence. House of Hope, Inc., strives to end the cycle of violence through direct service focused on victims and children. Services are provided by trained and dedicated staff and volunteers who provide advocacy, support, shelter and community awareness in the belief that all individuals have a right to a life free of abuse of any kind. Services provided include a 24-hour crisis hotline, emergency shelter, outreach services in Lafayette, Ray, Saline and Carroll counties, children’s services, emergency transportation, legal referrals and advocacy, age-appropriate support groups, community awareness and education, parenting classes, as well as supervised visitation and monitored exchanges of children and their noncustodial parent(s) at the community outreach center. Services are provided in the shelter or through the House of Hope Community Outreach Center.
