The building is designed with a red brick facade, stone and wood tower features and metal awnings. A general contractor is not yet selected, and building costs were undisclosed. Project engineers include Mettemeyer Engineering LLC, structural; and Interpres Building Solutions LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing. The development is slated to be completed in 2020. Kissee Office Complex West Farm Road 152 ARCHITECTS Building Systems Design Group LLC Renovation for the nearly 1-year-old Springfield office of Omaha, Nebraska- based Kutak Rock LLP will be completed in May on the eighth and ninth floors of the John Q. Hammons Building. Crews are reconfiguring 12,800 square feet of office space to include conference areas, break rooms and a community room, as well as a combination of open and private offices. The ninth floor previously housed hotelier John Q. Hammons’ private office. Designs by Paragon Architecture LLC will incorporate several elements from Hammons’ office into the new space to honor his legacy.
